Ranelle M. Meroney

Ranelle Meroney has had an active trial practice since being licensed to practice law in 1980 and has tried 90 first chair jury trials in courts of record. After graduating from the University of Texas School of Law in 1980, she began her legal career in Beaumont, Texas with a small defense firm that afforded her significant litigation experience. She then returned to Austin in 1986, first with a firm now known as Wright & Greenhill where she was a shareholder from 1990-2000 (managing shareholder 1993-1996). In 2000 she became Of Counsel to Chamberlain ♦ McHaney. She was board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1998, and invited to become a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2001. Her practice consists primarily of the defense of personal injury, property damage, employment, construction and defamation cases, with a special emphasis on premises liability matters.
