W. Richard (Dick) Ellis III

Dick Ellis has spent over 30 years in an active litigation practice representing employers, corporations, professionals and individuals in a wide variety of commercial, civil and personal injury matters on both sides of the docket.  He has been Board Certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1994.  He has tried many cases successfully to verdict representing plaintiffs and defendants in matters ranging from legal malpractice, premises liability, products liability, commercial and contractual disputes, wrongful death and serious injuries arising out of the work place.  Mr. Ellis is also a skilled and experienced Attorney Mediator having mediated over 300 cases. 

Prior to moving to Austin in 2002, Mr. Ellis tried cases to juries in Harris County, Fort Bend County, Montgomery County, Galveston County, Matagorda County, Austin County, Victoria County, Brazoria County, Nueces County, and Jefferson County, Texas.  Since joining Chamberlain ♦ McHaney, Mr. Ellis has successfully represented clients with matters pending in the Courts of Travis County, Bexar County, Lee County, Williamson County, Roberts County, Cameron County, Live Oak County, Nueces County, Webb County, Gray County, Carson County and Bell County, Texas.
