William C. Davidson

William (Bill) Davidson has had a long career in the practice of law, spanning over forty years. During that time he has had the privilege of representing a broad range of clients in litigation, bankruptcy, appellate work, corporate and real estate matters. For the past several years his practice has concentrated in the areas of corporate representation, real estate and development. Bill has served for the past fourteen years as the general counsel for the largest privately owned PPO in the United States, working on all of its corporate, contract and health policy issues. He has also been actively involved in real estate transactions from development to financing. Bill is probably the only attorney in Texas to develop the documents for a fractional ownership condominium project. He is currently working on several large real estate development projects in central Texas, representing the developers of those projects. In addition Bill has devoted many hours to non-profit corporations, acting as the volunteer corporate counsel for Hope Alliance, Youth Interactive, and Austin Community Clinic.

Licensed in Texas in September, 1963; Licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas; Licensed to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; General Civil practice with emphasis on general business matters, including litigation and appellate representation before the United States Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit, and Texas courts of appeal, bankruptcy (business reorganization under Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 liquidations), real estate transactions (including contract, loan, condominium, and subdivision development, both commercial and residential) for developers, lenders, and lender transactions including loan document, and corporate representation. He also represents clients in the area of intellectual property, entertainment law and computer contract law. In addition, he has experience in health law, including HIPAA and Medicare regulations.
