Bill Davidson

Senior Counsel

William (Bill) Davidson has chosen to have a long career in the practice of law, spanning over fifty years. Bill conducts his legal practice on the premise that attorneys have the opportunity and obligation to serve their clients needs.

During his many years of legal representation, Bill has had the privilege of representing a broad range of clients in litigation, bankruptcy, appellate work, corporate and real estate matters.

For the past several years his practice has concentrated in the areas of commercial real estate, representing regional and local developers, builders and real estate brokers and agents through all phases of development, sale and financing. 

Bill is also active in  corporate representation. Bill served for approximately twenty-five years as the general counsel for the largest privately owned PPO in the United States, working on all of its corporate, contract and health policy issues. Bill has represented the local minor league baseball team owners in both corporate and real estate matters; local retail owners and restaurant owners and medium size corporate entities.

In addition Bill has devoted many hours to non-profit corporations, acting as the volunteer corporate counsel for Hope Alliance, Youth Interactive, and Austin Community Clinic.

Attorney Experience:

Licensed in Texas in September, 1963; Licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas; Licensed to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; General Civil practice with emphasis on general business matters, real estate transactions (including contract, loan, condominium, and subdivision development, both commercial and residential) for developers, lenders, and lender transactions including loan document, and corporate representation. He also represents clients in the area of intellectual property, entertainment law and computer contract law. In addition, he has experience in health law, including HIPAA and Medicare regulations.
