Partner
Gordon McHaney has practiced his entire legal career with the firm finding the variety of legal work stimulating and client satisfaction rewarding. Much of his practice has been consistent over the last 30 years, he still helps clients resolve their disputes regardless of whether they are defending claims or pursuing remedies. His practice has earned him clients from those he was previously adverse and accolades from his peers. Gordon’s general civil litigation and insurance coverage practice has grown considerably from referrals, prior adverse parties engaging him to represent them and representatives of clients moving to new companies and bringing that new work to him. This client loyalty is due in part to his partnership approach to working with clients and his fair and balanced approach. His expertise is often sought in products liability, construction litigation and commercial litigation. He has also been instrumental in writing insurance policies for newly formed insurance companies as well as offering coverage opinions. In addition to serving as managing partner for the firm, he also heads the firm’s statewide subrogation and collection practice.
