Sean has tried cases involving wrongful death, personal injuries, and construction disputes to verdict before juries in State and Federal courts in Central Texas and across the State. He has successfully preserved trial court rulings in multiple Texas appellate courts and at the Texas Supreme Court. He has also represented clients in arbitrations and in front of the Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation. Sean’s practice focuses on representing clients in the defense of death and catastrophic personal injury actions including defending manufacturers in product liability cases, defending companies in electrocution cases, defending businesses in transportation and trucking cases, and defending bars, restaurants, and commercial property owners in premises liability cases. Sean also serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Association of Defense Counsel.

Successfully defended Austin restaurant at summary judgment phase for allegations of overservice of intoxicated patron which resulted in an automobile accident and wrongful death.
Successfully defended commercial property owner at summary judgment phase for allegations of premises liability when Plaintiff fell from concrete silo and sustained severe personal injuries.
Represented client in real estate fraud case through jury trial which resulted in a take-nothing judgment in favor of client.
Represented client through jury trial and obtained favorable jury verdict in case that involved an electrocution at a construction site which resulted in a fatality.
Represented client through jury trial and obtained favorable jury verdict in premises liability case which involved two fatalities.
Represented clients through jury trial and obtained favorable jury verdict in engineering malpractice case.
Represented client through jury trial and obtained favorable jury verdict in 18-wheeler case which resulted in a fatality.
Represented valet service company in premises liability case through jury trial and received a take-nothing judgment in favor of client.
Represented subcontractor in construction of hotel through jury trial against allegations of negligence in personal injury case which resulted in a take-nothing judgment in favor of client.
Successfully defended a national original equipment manufacturer in a construction accident which resulted in catastrophic injuries.
Defended numerous bars, restaurants, and resorts in liquor liability (Dram Shop) cases where over-service was alleged and catastrophic injuries resulted.
Defended manufacturers of construction equipment and other products where catastrophic injuries have resulted.
Defended numerous businesses in auto accidents where negligent hiring and training claims have been alleged.
